I love this look because you can pick which pieces you want to invest in for the quiet luxury trend. The monochrome pairings make mixing high-end and high street seamless. I personally would invest in the blouse and shoes and opt to thrift the rest, but it’s up to you. Shoes are ALWAYS worth the investment because you can get so much mileage out of a quality pair. The best part is you can even get them mended if you wear them in enough.
However, investing in the bottoms isn’t all that bad an idea. You’ll only ever need one solid pair of black culottes; they can be worn every season and are really versatile. The cost-per-wear would end up making it a justifiable decision. Your budget, your choice!
